Kazim Hussain MD

Dr. Kazim Hussain was born and grew up in Lahore, which is a historical, cultural, academic center and the capital city of the province Punjab in Pakistan. After finishing his studies and training he moved to the United States in 1993. After his  residency in Chicago he started his carrier as an emergency physician in 1997 after working in different states, and in March 1999 moved to South Texas.  He owns several clinics in the area and also staffs the emergency department of a prestigious local hospital since 2002. He’s currently residing in Brownsville TX.

Richard C. Camarillo MSN, APRN, AGPCNP-C

Richard C. Camarillo was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas. He began his career in the healthcare field at the age of twenty. Through hard work and dedication Mr. Camarillo is a Nurse Practitioner at JF Medical Clinic. He received his Master of Science Degree in Nursing Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from The University of Texas at Arlington. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley. He also earned his Associates Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College. Mr. Camarillo also obtained Certificate in Vocational Nursing from Texas Southmost College.

Dr. Kazim Hussain, MD, is a highly respected medical professional with a distinguished career spanning multiple decades. Born in Lahore, Pakistan, he received his undergraduate degree from a prestigious Government College University Lahore before earning his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College in 1986. Dr. Hussain completed his internship in General Surgery and Internal Medicine, followed by residency in Neurosurgery, in Lahore, Pakistan.

In 1993, he moved to the United States, where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine in 1997. Dr. Hussain has since dedicated his career to practicing medicine, specializing in both Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine. He served as Chairman of the Emergency Department at Valley Baptist Medical Center (VBMC) in Brownsville, Texas, for 22 years. Currently, he is the owner and Medical Director of JK Medical Clinic and Urgent Care Centers.

Dr. Hussain’s contributions to the medical field have earned him numerous accolades, including the Best Doctor of the Year; award from VBMC in 2007. In 2009, he was honored with the National Hero Behind the Scene award by the Emergency Nursing Association (ENA). He has served on numerous committees and boards at Valley Baptist Medical Center Brownsville. His commitment to public health and community service was further recognized in 2011 when the City of Brownsville acknowledged his significant contributions to the health development of the Rio Grande Valley.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Hussain is the founder of Exceptional Healthcare Inc., where he currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and a Founding Board Member. His leadership and dedication continue to make a lasting impact on healthcare in our community.

Mr. Camarillo has conducted internships and preceptors at JK Medical Clinic under Dr. K. Hussein, Ricardo, A. Adames M.D. P.A., and Valley Doctors Clinic under Dr. S. Reddy. He has 23 years work experience in the healthcare field as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, Nurse Manager, Director of Nurses, and a Adjunct Instructor. Mr. Camarillo also is professionally associated with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurse Association, Texas Nurse Association. He has also volunteered in a number of initiatives with Alzheimer’s Association and at Valley Regional Medical Center as a Junior and Senior Auxiliary Volunteer. Mr. Camarillo was awarded the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Committee Award, has twice received from Sunglo Home Heath the Blue STAT Employee of the Year Award and the Employee of the Quarter Award.
